From this collaboration, the modern outdoor-inspired boots consolidates Palladium’s signature canvas model dating back to 1947, with Both’s unique savoir-faire and experimental design in rubber material soles, giving birth to a contemporary mixed product. The Both x Palladium collaboration boots provide solid grip and quick-drying capability, while the lightweight outdoor soles and the military-grade canvas create a new hybrid and balance between outdoor casual and urban life.
The fabrication is centered around natural and organic processes. Inspired by the natural phenomena, the inflated-looking outsole embodies the movement and flows of lava, rivers, and clouds. The shapes and textures of the angular blocks is reminiscent of the iconic both GAO sole and also a material visualization of city environments and concrete jungles.
